Home / Concussions

A concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury typically caused by a bump, blow or jolt to the head. A concussion can also occur from a blow to the body that causes the head and brain to move quickly back and forth. This sudden movement of the brain can damage brain cells and create chemical changes in the brain.
