“SPAAT” If you have an interest in sports medicine and you are a high school student or entry-level college student, this is the best program for you. You will receive an Introduction and Foundation into the exciting field of sports medicine. You will view a Cadaver Evaluation from one of the premier orthopedic surgeons in the area….. this will be an important day in your academic career.

The day will start with an introduction of the future of sports medicine /athletic training followed by the fundamentals  of on the field emergency preparedness, to include – planning for heat illness, how to deal with concussions and C-Spine emergencies. Then we will then share our knowledge of how to rehabilitate with a minimal budget, cadaver viewing and rounding the day off with athletic taping and a game of Jeopardy….

This will be something you will be talking about for days all at a low-cost of $60.00. Saturday June 1st Check in from 7:30 – 8am until 4:30pm at the Renaissance Hotel in Palm Springs, CA – June 1st, 2013. ($10.00 Late Fee after May 24th, 2013)
