You will receive an introduction and foundation in the exciting field of sports medicine. You will view a Cadaver Evaluation from one of the premier orthopedic surgeons in the area, learn how to tape like a professional, learn athletic training etiquette and injury rehabilitation….. this will be an important day in your academic career!

The day will start with an introduction of the future of sports medicine /athletic training followed by the fundamentals  of on the field emergency preparedness, to include – planning for heat illness, how to deal with concussions and C-Spine emergencies. Then we will then share our knowledge of how to rehabilitate with a minimal budget, cadaver viewing and rounding the day off with athletic taping and a game of Jeopardy.
